In the Mail Today

My wonderful friend Jennifer Faulkner -- President of the Peconic Ruggers -- hooked my little "Wool" pattern recently.  Isn't it fabulous?  I told her it may be the heat, but when I look at it, I see sherbet . . . .  It's that kind of summer . . . lemon, lime, blueberry, orange, and raspberry . . .  I'll have a scoop of each, please!

Heaven

I've been hooking again and it is heaven.  I spent a week recovering from the marathon drive to and from Chicago, then spent another week and a half moving my studio from the attic to the basement.  I did the reverse a couple of years ago, wanting more morning sunlight, but the eaves and the carpeting are driving me crazy, as is drawing off patterns in the basement, then running up two flights of stairs to stitch the edges on my sewing machine.  It just makes more sense to have everything on one floor.  So I am subterranean again.

I have lots of new ideas percolating in my head for the fall shows, though.  Photos to follow soon!
