Finished!

Well, I'm finished with the hooking anyway.  I need to to give this a good steaming before I put the piping on.  I hook on the tight side -- always have -- but I must have watched to many British mysteries while hooking this one. At any rate, I am pleased with how my Whale of a Tale turned out.  I changed Jonah's coat -- ripped out the antique paisley and hooked in a dark fushia, which unfortunately reads red in my photo.  That was the color I had planned on using, long before the class started.  But it looked too bright to me then and I switched it to the paisley.  Now I've switched it back.  Just goes to show -- often an initial impulse is the way to go.

What do you think?
