From Rags to Riches

In honor of Women's History Month, the Suffolk County Historical is hosting a show called From Rags to Riches: The Living Tradition of Rug Hooking.  Several members of my guild -- me included -- have been asked to participate.  And guess what?  They picked one of my rugs -- Mary's Runner -- to be on the  invitation to the opening!  What fun for me!

And fun for you -- because you are all invited!  Here's the scoop:

I sure wish New York and Utah were a little closer to each other - I 'd be there in a minute!

How exciting that your rug made the cover of the invitation! Kinda like being a "cover girl"!
Oh girl, if you lived closer I totally would have taken you up on the offer of doing the cording. However, once I got the tension problem resolved it was smooth sailing. Still don't "like" to sew though!

Have not started on my hedgehog yet- recuperating from rotator cuff surgery. Hope to see you soon at the fleece and fiber fair. Diane
