A Day in the Dye Pots

I spent all of yesterday dyeing wool.  I need to hook up some pumpkins for my fall shows, and i wanted some purples for a pattern I designed in April called Fairfield Floral.  I love seeing it drying on the line -- I get a feeling of accomplishment.  I was trying some golden brown dip dyes for a chicken mat I'm working on.  These aren't quite right, so I will be in the dye pots again soon.  Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

They are beautiful drying on the line! I will be in the dye pot next week. So much fun, even when you don't get what you were hoping for.

Wonderful wonderful color!
I wish I felt we could dye wool.
I try but it never comes out as I want.

Sarah, I always love to see dyed wool on the line. You may not have gotten the exact results that you wanted but it looks pretty.

I would like to get to the dye pots too but life seems a bit busy. I would love to retire just so I could hook.

I hope that you can get exactly the colors you were looking for on your next dyeing day.

Thanks for your comment about Victoria.
