My neice was married in the middle of a snowstorm on Saturday -- just what she wanted. I was able to see all my siblings and their families -- the first time since my mother's funeral. It was a wonderful celebration -- worth driving through the snowstorm for. I hope they have fabulous life together.
Now it is on to the New Year. Lots of people don't like to make resolutions. They think that's setting yourself up for failure. I think its always good to set goals, even though they have a habit of changing pretty quickly. One of my resolutions this year is to read more. My husband used to tell people I read too much, but this past year I spent more time hooking and on the computer and a lot of time procrastinating. I'm not giving up blogging -- I actually want to blog more. I'm going to spend less time on places like Pinterest and playing word games, much as I love them. I think I could fit everything in if I didn't procrastinate so much . . .
So without wasting any more time -- I wish you all a Happy New Year!

Your niece looks lovely in her beautiful gown but I'm getting cold looking at her bare shoulders, lol... I got married in a huge snow storm too by the way.
I don't make resolutions but I set goals to work on till I finish some. It all goes on my list and I cross out what got attained and the goals stays on there till sooner or later they get done too. It's fun crossing my long list.
Weddings and funerals have a way of getting family and friends together. I'm sorry about the passing of your mother. I lost mine in 2009.
Wishing you all the best for the new year.

I still have to fulfill all the goals I set for myself last year!! It's a never ending process!!
I know blogs and computer stuff takes a good block of time..... but I can't imagine life now without all my friends and their blogs!
